Once the total closure is working, can I stop it?

YES, at any time while the Total Closure is in operation you can STOP it. Do this by pressing the UNLOCK button on the key fob. Or by lifting the driver's door knob.

A lot of people say, "I know nothing about wiring or soldering".

Don’t worry, there are enough detailed pictures on the instructions supplied to look at, step by step. Plus you can e-mail and if need help. But if you are willing to travel, You can have the FREE FITTING and then you know it will work.

Will this affect my deadlocks and immobiliser?.

No, it will not touch these. The alarm and immobiliser will work as normal.

How long does it take to fit?

I can do them in about 20 minutes, so maybe about 30 minutes onwards.

The windows don't close when I press the button,

Make sure the EARTH wire (from the kit) is to the bodywork/ground, NOT just crimped on another black or brown wire.

Also, have you disconnected the battery, you will need to reset the windows.

I have fitted the Total Closure and it doesn’t work.

Check all fuses. Have you put an extra fuse in the fuse box (where you might have added the +12v wire, in an empty slot)?

Also double check the crimps, Sometime they just need that extra push to connect, As soldering would be ideal.

Did you disconnect the battery? If so the windows need to be reprogrammed. Just keep your finger on the up/closed button for about 4 seconds. This should reset the windows.

Some types of models are different and is impossible to have a set of instructions for every kind of model. So from the help of you guys and girls I can make a list that might help.

Astra, Brown wire to Red/Orange, (there is no Brown/Black)

Astra + Corsa, Some Corsas and Astras do not have an alarm, check drivers side kick panel, If theres no black box then theres no alarm, The Total Closure will need to fit in the drivers door panel, The long red wire from Total Closure can be cut down as it crimps onto the thick red wire, Perm +12v (electric window supply).

Most corsa's have a different type of locking system (well, unlocking), press the key fob once to unlock the drivers door and press it again to unlock the passenger door/boot, The kit will work, But when you start your engine the windows will stop/not open for about the first 20 seconds as this is due to the alarm system.

Zafira, The 12v (power) comes from the side NOT the TOP.
