The following kits have a detailed how 2 below, please take a look at them first and also follow the TEST sections as this will help you if you get stuck or anything goes wrong.

We have done our best to have all kits with colour coded wires which makes it a lot easier to fit, supplied with crimps so no need to cut wires, but soldering would be advisable. I have also added TEST sections which will help you as you go along, its no good wiring the whole lot up and hoping it will work first time, by doing the TEST fetures you will know if you have wired it up right stage by stage.

You can click on any of the links below-        Press HOME to return to the top of this page

TOTAL CLOSURE

These pics are taken from a 51 reg Vectra

First unscrew the kick panel with the screwdriver. This can be tricky taking the plastic cover off, so please be careful (and don’t get mad!) you may need to lift/unclip some of the driver’s side door seal plastic trim, lift it up one end just enough to get the drivers kick panel trim out.

Once that is off you should see something like this

Behind drivers kick panel

To get to the alarm box wires, Unclip/slide the Black and Blue connectors off.   (See picture above) .

Wire up the LONG RED wire first, this needs to be wired up to a permanent +12v.  There is enough wire to go straight to the fuse box. (Follow the other cables to the fuse box).  Total Closure HAS a built in fuse (800ma). If you decide to go to the fuse box, there are 3 screws just at the top of the fuse box. Unscrew these and unclip from the bottom and pull down/out carefully,

Looking at the fuse box (pic below) there is a spare (fuse) hole, (3rd from bottom right)

Fuse box from the front

Looking from behind the fuse box (pic below) you can crimp the long red wire to the bottom of the wire as the top is always live.

Back of the fuse box

You can put the fuse box back in place. DO NOT put the fuse in yet.

Now with the BLACK wire, use the BLUE connector and connect to the BROWN wire or the earth bodywork. (See picture below)

brown wire to earth

TEST - Just push in a 10amp fuse and you will see the small red led light up and you should hear some clicking/relays, now take the fuse out.

The Brown/Black wire goes to the Brown/Black wire. Use RED connector. About 4th wire in from the engine bay, (see pic below)

Brown/Black wire,

TEST - Open all windows and electric sunroof make sure there are no objects are in the way of the windows, Just push in a 10amp fuse in the fuse box, just as before and you will see all the windows and sunroof close, Leave the fuse in and the LED will go off after about 20 seconds.

The BLUE/BLACK wire goes to the Thin BLUE & BLACK wire. Use RED connector. Second row back, behind the Brown/Black. (You can see the Blue/Black wire in the pic below)

Blue/Black wire, Deadlock

TEST Now open your windows fully, close all doors (be carefull as there maybe you car trim in the way) and deadlock your car. All your electric windows and sunroof should close.

Now get back into the car and with the last wire, Red/Black, crimp this up to the Red/Black (see pic below)

Red/Black - unlock doors

TEST Again open all electric windows and sunroof, close all doors (minding the trim), Deadlock the car AND while the windows are closing UNLOCK the car and the windows will stop.

Now if everything works then you can put everything back.

TEST - Just push in a 10amp fuse and you will see the small red led light up and you should hear some clicking/relays, now take the fuse out.

Now with the long BLACK wire, take this back up to the fuse box, if you look at the small circled relay below (front fog relay) you need then to turn the fuse box over so you see the wires, from the fog relay there are wires coming from the back, There should be a thin GREEN/BLACK wire (leads to dashboard) and in the same place there should also be a slightly thicker BLACK wire, crimp the BLACK wire to this.

Front fog Relay

TEST Now push in a 10amp fuse and you will see the front fogs light up for your preset time, you can leave the fuse in.

You can put the fuse box back in place, and don't forget the 3 screws.

The BLUE/BLACK wire goes to the Thin BLUE & BLACK wire. Use RED connector. Second row back, (You can see the Blue/Black wire in the pic below)

Blue/Black wire, Deadlock

ANTI HI-JACK

This kit is now made, just need a car to fit it on while taking pics,

FLASH 'N' FOGS

These pics are taken from a 51 reg Vectra

If might be easier if you can take the front bumper off or work underneath the N/S, as from the picture below there are 4 wires
But there is a diffrent kit which would sit next to the battery, no need to take the bumper off.

The long RED wire goes up to the battery,
The long WHITE wire goes up to the main beam wire (pos white),
The long BLACK wire goes to the BLACK wire on the fog light wire,
The short BLACK doubles back on itself to where the metal holder on the relay and uses the same screw as the water bottle screenwash.

Astra H/MK5 - Lights/Fogs/Reverse on Delay.

These pics are taken from a **reg Astra, Life model,

To start off with you need to get and sit in the boot and one of the main fuse boxes is behind the near side rear panel, Turn the 2 round buttons and the cover will just rest down, now you will see the rear fuse box with about 5 plugs with different colour bands on them.

Astra Rear fuse box

The BLACK band is the power cables and may all be red wires, from the kit, crimp the RED wire to same size thickness of the RED wire from the BLACK band power block.

Power for kit

With the BROWN wire, take this to the top of the fuse box and you will see a bolt holding the fuse box on, with a 10 mm socket or spanner take the bolt off completely and hook the connector over the bolt and put the bolt back on while this is getting done there is now power getting to the unit and you will hear a few relays clicking and 1 or 2 leds light up. This is normal but don't touch any of the other wires to the bodywork until the leds are off.

Bolt holding on rear fuse box Earth bolt with earth connection from kit

The BLUE band clip will be for the Lock, Unlock and Deadlock/Unlock wires

 White wire / Unlock

As above you can see the white wire, this is the Unlock wire,

Red wire / Lock

As above you can see the Red wire, this is the Lock wire.

Green/Black - Deadlock and Unlock wire

As above you can see the Green/Black wire, This wire does 2 things, Deadlock and Unlock

 side and reversing lights

The GREEN band clip are for the lights, The YELLOW/BLACK wires are for the REAR SIDE LIGHTS (one set), you can see these wires have the red crimps on them and the WHITE/BLACK wires are for the Reversing lights, you can see these wires in between the red crimps.

Now the unit can be left in the boot and all the other wires will go through to the front of the car via the interior trim.
